Your privacy is important to us. Passula takes user-controlled data seriously and keeps documents secure and private.
Document retention
Passula processes travel documents you upload (such as passports, bank statements, payslips, insurance and ID) only for the purpose you choose.
By default, documents are uploaded for analysis only. After analysis completes, the original file is automatically deleted within 24 hours. If analysis cannot complete, originals are deleted within 72 hours.
You may choose to keep a document in your Travel Wallet. Wallet documents stay until you delete them and can be reused on future journeys.
After an original file is deleted, Passula may keep derived preparation results such as document type, analysis date, readiness findings, quality signals and masked identifiers — not full passport numbers, account numbers, full OCR text or raw document content.
You can delete a document anytime from your journey checklist or privacy settings. For support, contact us through the in-app help channels.
